Panthir was a Aetos-class destroyer, operated by the Hellenic Navy. She carried the pennant number 1912. The ship was named after Panther. Her keel was laid at Cammell Laird, Birkenhead in 1911. She entered service in 1912, having been launched on 1 April 1911.

She was one of four ships of her class.

She displaced 880 long tons. She measured 89.4 m (293 ft) long with a beam of 8.3 m (27 ft). Her designed speed was 31 knots, and she carried a complement of 58.

Her main battery was four 102 mm (4 in) guns.
