HMCS Bonaventure was a Majestic-class aircraft carrier, operated by the Royal Canadian Navy. The ship was named after Saint Bonaventure. Harland & Wolff, Belfast, Northern Ireland laid her keel on 27 November 1943. Launched on 27 February 1945, she entered service on 17 January 1957.

Four ships of the class were built. The Centaur-class aircraft carrier followed.

Displacement was 16,000 long tons standard and 20,000 long tons at full load. She measured 214.6 m (704 ft) long with a beam of 24.4 m (80 ft). Her designed speed was 24.5 knots, and she carried a complement of 1,200.

Her main battery was four 76 mm (3 in) guns. She carried 34 aircraft.

She was decommissioned on 3 July 1970.

She was broken up for scrap in 1971.
