HMS P611 was a Oruç Reis-class submarine submarine built for the Royal Navy. The ship was named after Aruj Barbarossa. Her keel was laid at Vickers Armstrong, Barrow-in-Furness on 24 May 1939. Launched on 19 July 1940, she entered service on 1 December 1941.
She was the only ship of her class. The class followed the U class and was succeeded by the V class.
The boat displaced 624 long tons surfaced and 856 long tons submerged. She measured 64 m (210 ft) long with a beam of 6.8 m (22 ft). Her designed speed was 13.7 knots, and she carried a complement of 41.
Her main battery was one 76 mm (3 in) guns.
She served with the Royal Navy as HMS P611 until 9 May 1942. She then passed to the Turkish Navy, serving as Oruç Reis from 9 May 1942. She was in commission for 1,371 days of the Second World War.
She was broken up for scrap in 1957.
