USS Midway was a Midway-class aircraft carrier built for the United States Navy. She carried the pennant number CV-41. She was named for Battle of Midway. Newport News Shipbuilding laid her keel on 27 October 1943. Launched on 20 March 1945, she entered service on 10 September 1945.

Three ships of the class were built. The class followed the Essex-class aircraft carrier and was succeeded by the United States-class aircraft carrier.

She displaced 45,000 long tons. She measured 305.1 m (1,001 ft) long with a beam of 36.9 m (121 ft). Her designed speed was 33 knots, and she carried a complement of 4,104.

Her main battery was 18 127 mm (5 in) guns. She carried 137 aircraft.

She was decommissioned on 11 April 1992. She was struck from the register on 17 March 1997.

She has been preserved.
