Circé was a Circé-class coastal submarine of the Marine Nationale. She carried the pennant number Q125. She was named for Circe. Chantiers Schneider et Cie, Chalon-sur-Saône, France laid her keel on 15 January 1924. She entered service on 29 January 1927, having been launched on 29 October 1925.

Five ships of the class were built.

The boat displaced 615 long tons surfaced and 776 long tons submerged. She measured 62.5 m (205 ft) long with a beam of 6.2 m (20 ft). Her designed speed was 14 knots, and she carried a complement of 41.

Her main battery was one 75 mm (3.0 in) guns.

She served with the Marine Nationale as Circé until 8 December 1942. She then passed to the Regia Marina, serving as FR117 from 22 December 1942. She was in commission for 1,329 days of the Second World War.

She was scuttled on 6 May 1943. The wreck survives.
