U-3515 was a Type XXI submarine built for the Kriegsmarine. F Schichau GmbH, Danzig laid her keel on 27 August 1944. She entered service on 14 December 1944, having been launched on 4 November 1944.
118 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Type VII and was succeeded by the Type XXVI.
The boat displaced 1,595 long tons surfaced and 1,790 long tons submerged. She measured 76.7 m (252 ft) long with a beam of 8 m (26 ft). Her designed speed was 17.9 knots, and she carried a complement of 57.
Her main battery was four 37 mm (1.5 in) guns.
She served with the Kriegsmarine as U-3515 until 9 May 1945. She then passed to the Soviet Navy, serving as B-30 from 13 February 1946. She was in commission for 146 days of the Second World War. She was struck from the register on 25 September 1959.
She was broken up for scrap on 30 November 1959.
