U-3519 was a Type XXI submarine built for the Kriegsmarine. Schichau-Werke, Danzig laid her keel on 19 September 1944. Launched on 23 November 1944, she entered service on 6 January 1945.

118 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Type VII and was succeeded by the Type XXVI.
