HMS Exmouth was a destroyer of the E-class destroyer flotilla leader in service with the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number H02. Portsmouth Dockyard laid her keel on 15 March 1933. She entered service on 9 November 1934, having been launched on 30 January 1934.

Her class ran to eleven ships. The class followed the C and D-class destroyer and was succeeded by the G and H-class destroyer.

She displaced 1,495 long tons standard and 2,050 long tons at full load. She measured 104.5 m (343 ft) long with a beam of 10.1 m (33 ft). Her designed speed was 36 knots, and she carried a complement of 175. Her main battery was of 120 mm (4.7 in) calibre.

Her machinery developed 38,000 shp.

She was in commission for 142 days of the Second World War.

She was sunk on 21 January 1940, at 58°18′N 2°25′W. The wreck survives.
