HMS Grenville was a destroyer of the G-class flotilla leader in service with the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number H03. The ship was named after Richard Grenville. Yarrow Shipbuilding Company, Scotstoun, Glasgow laid her keel on 29 September 1934. She was launched on 15 August 1935.
She was one of eleven ships of her class.
She displaced 1,455 long tons standard and 2,053 long tons at full load. She measured 100.6 m (330 ft) long with a beam of 10.4 m (34 ft). Her designed speed was 36 knots, and she carried a complement of 175.
Her main battery was five 119 mm (4.7 in) guns. 38,000 shp drove two shafts.
She was in commission for 140 days of the Second World War.
She was sunk on 19 January 1940 by mine, at 51°39′N 2°17′E. The wreck survives.
