HMS Holcombe was a destroyer in service with the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number L56. Her keel was laid at Alexander Stephen and Sons, Glasgow on 3 April 1941. She entered service on 16 September 1942, having been launched on 14 April 1942.
Displacement was 1,050 long tons standard and 1,435 long tons at full load. She measured 85.3 m (280 ft) long with a beam of 10.2 m (33 ft). Her designed speed was 27 knots, and she carried a complement of 168. Her main battery was of 102 mm (4.0 in) calibre.
She was in commission for 452 days of the Second World War.
She was sunk on 12 December 1943 by torpedo, at 37°38′N 5°58′E. The wreck survives.
