HMS Penn was a P-class destroyer, operated by the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number G77. Vickers-Armstrongs, High Walker laid her keel on 26 December 1939. She entered service on 10 February 1942, having been launched on 12 February 1941.
Eight ships of the class were built. The class followed the L and M-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Q and R-class destroyer.
Displacement was 1,640 long tons. She measured 105.2 m (345 ft) long with a beam of 10.7 m (35 ft). Her designed speed was 36 knots, and she carried a complement of 176. Her main battery was of 102 mm (4.0 in) calibre.
Her machinery developed 40,000 shp through two shafts.
She was in commission for 1,300 days of the Second World War.
She was broken up for scrap on 30 October 1950.
