HNLMS K XII was a K XI-class submarine of the Royal Netherlands Navy. Fijenoord, Rotterdam laid her keel on 9 January 1923. She entered service on 19 May 1925, having been launched on 15 July 1924.
Two ships of the class were built. The class followed the K VIII class and was succeeded by the K XIV class.
The boat displaced 688 long tons surfaced and 828 long tons submerged. She measured 66.7 m (219 ft) long with a beam of 6.2 m (20 ft). Her designed speed was 17 knots, and she carried a complement of 31.
Her main battery was one 88 mm (3.5 in) guns.
She was in commission for 2,193 days of the Second World War.
She was broken up for scrap in 1946.
