HNoMS Tor was a Sleipner-class destroyer in service with the Royal Norwegian Navy. She carried the pennant number 1939. Fredrikstad Mekaniske Verksted in Fredrikstad (hull) laid her keel in November 1938. Launched on 7 September 1939, she entered service on 13 June 1940.

She was one of five ships of her class. The class followed the Draug-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Ålesund-class destroyer.

She displaced 735 long tons. She measured 74.3 m (244 ft) long with a beam of 7.8 m (25 ft). Her designed speed was 32 knots. Her main battery was of 105 mm (4.1 in) calibre.

She served with the Royal Norwegian Navy as Tor. She then passed to the Kriegsmarine, serving as Tiger from 13 June 1940. She then passed to the Royal Norwegian Navy, serving as Tor from May 1945. She was in commission for 4,224 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned in 1959.

She was broken up for scrap.
