HNoMS Tordenskjold was a Tordenskjold-class coastal defence ship of the Royal Norwegian Navy. The ship was named after Peter Tordenskjold. Her keel was laid in 1897. Launched on 18 March 1897, she entered service on 21 March 1898.
Three ships of the class were built. The class followed the None and was succeeded by the Eidsvold-class coastal defence ship.
She displaced 3,858 long tons. She measured 92.7 m (304 ft) long with a beam of 14.8 m (48 ft). Her designed speed was 16.9 knots, and she carried a complement of 245.
Her main battery was two 210 mm (8.3 in) guns.
She served with the Royal Norwegian Navy as Tordenskjold. She then passed to the Kriegsmarine, serving as Nymphe from 1940. She then passed to the Royal Norwegian Navy, serving as Tordenskjold from 1945. She was in commission for 4,508 days of the Second World War.
She was broken up for scrap in 1948.
