Cesare Battisti was a Sauro-class destroyer in service with the Regia Marina. The ship was named after Cesare Battisti. Her keel was laid at Odero-Terni-Orlando, Sestri Ponente on 9 February 1924. She was launched on 11 December 1926.
Four ships of the class were built. The class followed the Sella-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Turbine-class destroyer.
Displacement was 1,041 long tons standard and 1,575 long tons at full load. She measured 90.2 m (296 ft) long with a beam of 9.2 m (30 ft). Her designed speed was 31 knots, and she carried a complement of 154.
Her main battery was four 120 mm (4.7 in) guns in two twin mountings. Her machinery developed 36,000 shp through two shafts.
She was in commission for 580 days of the Second World War.
She was scuttled on 3 April 1941. The wreck survives.
