Barbarigo was a Marcello-class submarine built for the Regia Marina. The ship was named after Agostino Barbarigo. She was built by CRDA. She entered service on 19 September 1938, having been launched on 12 June 1938.

Her class ran to four ships.

The boat displaced 1,060 long tons surfaced and 1,313 long tons submerged. She measured 73 m (240 ft) long with a beam of 7.2 m (24 ft). Her designed speed was 17.4 knots, and she carried a complement of 58.

Her main battery was two 100 mm (3.9 in) guns.

She was in commission for 1,387 days of the Second World War.

She was sunk on 19 June 1943. The wreck survives.
