Luigi Settembrini was a Settembrini-class submarine in service with the Regia Marina. She was built by Cantieri navali Tosi di Taranto, Taranto. She was launched on 28 September 1930.
Her class ran to two ships. The class followed the Bragadin-class submarine and was succeeded by the Argo-class submarine.
The boat displaced 938 long tons surfaced and 1,135 long tons submerged. She measured 69.1 m (227 ft) long with a beam of 6.6 m (22 ft). Her designed speed was 17.5 knots.
Her main battery was one 102 mm (4.0 in) guns. 3,000 bhp drove two shafts.
She was in commission for 1,902 days of the Second World War.
