Yasoshima was a Ning Hai-class cruiser in service with the Chinese Navy. Her keel was laid at Kiangnan Dock and Engineering Works, Shanghai, China on 28 June 1931. She was launched on 28 September 1935.

Three ships of the class were built.

Displacement was 2,409 long tons. She measured 109.7 m (360 ft) long with a beam of 11.9 m (39 ft). Her designed speed was 21 knots, and she carried a complement of 361.

Her main battery was six 140 mm (5.5 in) guns.

She served with the Chinese Navy as Ping Hai until 23 September 1937. She then passed to the Imperial Japanese Navy, serving as Yasoshima from 1938. She was in commission for 1,912 days of the Second World War. She recommissioned on 25 September 1944.

She was sunk on 25 November 1944 by aircraft. The wreck survives.
