Kashi was a Momo-class destroyer in service with the Imperial Japanese Navy. She carried the pennant number 1916. She was named for Evergreen Oak Tree. She was built by Maizuru Naval Arsenal. She was launched on 1 December 1916.

She was the only ship of her class. The class followed the Isokaze-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Enoki-class destroyer.

She displaced 835 long tons standard and 1,080 long tons at full load. She measured 83.8 m (275 ft) long with a beam of 7.6 m (25 ft). Her designed speed was 31.5 knots, and she carried a complement of 110.

Her main battery was three 120 mm (4.7 in) guns. Her machinery developed 16,000 shp through two shafts.

She served with the Imperial Japanese Navy as Kashi (樫) until 1 May 1937. She then passed to the Imperial Japanese Navy, serving as Kaii from 6 June 1942. She was in commission for 3,050 days of the Second World War.

She was sunk on 10 October 1944 by aircraft. The wreck survives.
