Nokaze was a improved Minekaze-class destroyer of the Imperial Japanese Navy. Maizuru Naval Arsenal laid her keel on 16 April 1921. Launched on 1 October 1921, she entered service on 31 March 1922.
Displacement was 1,215 long tons standard and 1,650 long tons at full load. She measured 102.6 m (337 ft) long with a beam of 8.9 m (29 ft). Her designed speed was 39 knots, and she carried a complement of 148. Her main battery was of 120 mm (4.7 in) calibre.
She was in commission for 2,048 days of the Second World War. She was struck from the register on 10 April 1945.
She was sunk on 20 February 1945 by torpedo, at 12°48′N 109°38′E. The wreck survives.
