I-373 was a Type D2 submarine, operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy. Yokosuka Navy Yard, Yokosuka, Japan laid her keel on 15 August 1944. Launched on 30 November 1944, she entered service on 14 April 1945.

The boat displaced 1,660 long tons surfaced and 2,240 long tons submerged. She measured 74 m (243 ft) long with a beam of 8.9 m (29 ft). Her designed speed was 13 knots, and she carried a complement of 55.

Her main battery was two 81 mm (3.2 in) guns.

She was in commission for 141 days of the Second World War. She was struck from the register on 15 September 1945.

She was sunk on 14 August 1945, at 29°02′N 123°53′E. The wreck survives.
