Yu 3001 was a submarine of the Imperial Japanese Navy. She was built by Korea Machine Factory Boat Manufacturing Works, Inchon, Chosen (Korea). She was launched on 10 April 1944.

The boat displaced 274 long tons surfaced and 346 long tons submerged. She measured 41.4 m (136 ft) long with a beam of 3.9 m (13 ft). Her designed speed was 10 knots, and she carried a complement of 23.

She was in commission for 391 days of the Second World War.

She was scuttled in August 1945. The wreck survives.
