SMS Pillau was a Pillau-class cruiser built for the Regia Marina. The ship was named after Pillau. Schichau, Danzig laid her keel on 12 April 1913. She entered service on 14 December 1914, having been launched on 11 April 1914.
She was one of two ships of her class. The class followed the Graudenz-class cruiser and was succeeded by the Wiesbaden-class cruiser.
Displacement was 4,321 long tons standard and 5,169 long tons at full load. She measured 135.3 m (444 ft) long with a beam of 13.6 m (45 ft). Her designed speed was 27.5 knots, and she carried a complement of 442.
Her main battery was eight 150 mm (5.9 in) guns. Her machinery developed 30,000 shp.
She then passed to the Regia Marina, serving as Bari from 21 January 1924. She was in commission for 1,396 days of the Second World War. She was struck from the register on 5 November 1919.
She was broken up for scrap on 28 June 1943.
