HMS Jaguar was a J-class destroyer in service with the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number F34. She was named for Jaguar. Her keel was laid at William Denny and Brothers on 25 November 1937. She entered service on 12 September 1939, having been launched on 22 November 1938.

She was one of eight ships of her class. The class followed the Tribal-class destroyer and was succeeded by the L and M-class destroyer.

Displacement was 1,690 long tons standard and 2,330 long tons at full load. She measured 108.5 m (356 ft) long with a beam of 10.7 m (35 ft). Her designed speed was 36 knots, and she carried a complement of 183. Her main battery was of 120 mm (4.7 in) calibre.

Her machinery developed 44,000 shp.

She was in commission for 926 days of the Second World War.

She was sunk on 26 March 1942, at 31°53′N 26°18′E. The wreck survives.
