HMS Quilliam was a Q-class destroyer, operated by the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number G09. She was named for Lieutenant John Quilliam. Her keel was laid at R. and W. Hawthorn, Leslie and Company, Limited on 19 August 1940. Launched on 29 November 1941, she entered service on 22 October 1942.
Seven ships of the class were built. The class followed the O and P-class destroyer and was succeeded by the S and T-class destroyer.
She served with the Royal Navy as HMS Quilliam until 21 November 1945. She then passed to the Royal Netherlands Navy, serving as HNLMS Banckert from 21 November 1945. She was in commission for 1,046 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 21 November 1945. She was struck from the register on 19 October 1956.
She was broken up for scrap in 1957.
