HMS Resolution was a Revenge-class battleship built for the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number 09. Her keel was laid at Palmers Shipbuilding and Iron Company, Jarrow on 29 November 1913. Launched on 14 January 1915, she entered service on 30 December 1916.
Six ships of the class were built. The class followed the Queen Elizabeth-class battleship and was succeeded by the N3-class battleship.
She displaced 25,750 long tons standard and 31,130 long tons at full load. She measured 189.0 m (620 ft) long with a beam of 26.8 m (88 ft). Her designed speed was 22 knots.
Her main battery was eight 381 mm (15 in) guns in four twin mountings. 40,000 shp drove four shafts.
She was in commission for 2,193 days of the Second World War.
She was broken up for scrap on 5 May 1948.
