HMS Tabard was a submarine of the T-class submarine (Group III) of the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number P342. Scotts Shipbuilding and Engineering Company, Greenock laid her keel on 6 September 1944. She entered service on 25 June 1946, having been launched on 21 November 1945.
52 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Grampus-class submarine and was succeeded by the U class.
The boat displaced 1,327 long tons surfaced and 1,571 long tons submerged. She measured 83.2 m (273 ft) long with a beam of 7.6 m (25 ft). Her designed speed was 15.5 knots, and she carried a complement of 63. Her main battery was of 102 mm (4.0 in) calibre.
She was broken up for scrap in January 1974.
