Ruggiero Settimo was a Settembrini-class submarine in service with the Regia Marina. She was built by Cantieri navali Tosi di Taranto, Taranto. She was launched on 29 March 1931.
Her class ran to two ships. The class followed the Bragadin-class submarine and was succeeded by the Argo-class submarine.
The boat displaced 938 long tons surfaced and 1,135 long tons submerged. She measured 69.1 m (227 ft) long with a beam of 6.6 m (22 ft). Her designed speed was 17.5 knots.
