Arkhangelsk was a Revenge-class battleship, operated by the Royal Navy. Her keel was laid at HM Dockyard, Portsmouth on 15 January 1914. She entered service on 30 May 1944, having been launched on 29 April 1915.

Six ships of the class were built. The class followed the Queen Elizabeth-class battleship and was succeeded by the N3-class battleship.

She displaced 29,970 long tons standard and 31,130 long tons at full load. She measured 189.0 m (620 ft) long with a beam of 26.8 m (88 ft). Her designed speed was 23 knots.

Her main battery was eight 381 mm (15 in) guns in four twin mountings. Her machinery developed 40,000 shp through four shafts.

She served with the Royal Navy as Royal Sovereign until 30 May 1944. She then passed to the Soviet Navy from 30 May 1944. She then passed to the Royal Navy from January 1949. She was in commission for 2,193 days of the Second World War.

She was broken up for scrap on 18 May 1949.
