HMS Brilliant was a B-class destroyer built for the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number H84. She was built by Swan Hunter, Tyne and Wear, United Kingdom. She was launched on 9 October 1930.

Her class ran to nine ships. The class followed the HMS Ambuscade (D38) and HMS Amazon (D39) and was succeeded by the C and D-class destroyer.

Displacement was 1,360 long tons. She measured 98.5 m (323 ft) long with a beam of 9.8 m (32 ft). Her designed speed was 35 knots, and she carried a complement of 142.

Her main battery was four 119 mm (4.7 in) guns. Her machinery developed 34,000 shp.

She was in commission for 2,193 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned in November 1945.

She was broken up for scrap on 21 February 1948.
