HMS Loch Achray was a Loch-class frigate frigate, operated by the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number K426. The ship was named after Loch Achray. Smiths Dock Co., Ltd. laid her keel on 13 December 1943. Launched on 7 July 1944, she entered service on 1 February 1945.

She was one of 15 ships of her class. The class followed the River-class frigate and was succeeded by the Bay-class frigate.

She measured 93.6 m (307 ft) long with a beam of 11.6 m (38 ft). Her designed speed was 20 knots, and she carried a complement of 114. Her main battery was of 102 mm (4.0 in) calibre.

She served with the Royal Navy as HMS Loch Achray until July 1946. She then passed to the Royal New Zealand Navy, serving as HMNZS Kaniere from 27 September 1948. She was in commission for 213 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned in July 1946.

She was broken up for scrap in September 1966.
