HMS Vesper was a Admiralty V-class destroyer, operated by the Royal Navy. Alexander Stephen and Sons, Glasgow laid her keel on 7 December 1916. Launched on 15 December 1917, she entered service on 20 February 1918.

Displacement was 1,339 long tons. She measured 91.4 m (300 ft) long with a beam of 7.9 m (26 ft). She carried a complement of 110. Her main battery was of 102 mm (4.0 in) calibre.

She was in commission for 2,193 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned in 1945. She recommissioned in 1939.

She was broken up for scrap on 7 March 1947.
