HMS Watchman was a Admiralty W-class destroyer of the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number G23. She was named for watchman. Her keel was laid at John Brown & Company, Clydebank on 17 January 1917. Launched on 2 December 1917, she entered service on 26 January 1918.

She displaced 1,100 long tons. She measured 91.4 m (300 ft) long with a beam of 8.2 m (27 ft). Her designed speed was 34 knots, and she carried a complement of 110. Her main battery was of 102 mm (4.0 in) calibre.

She was in commission for 2,096 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned in May 1945. She recommissioned in 1939.

She was broken up for scrap on 23 July 1945.
