Jalea was a Argonauta-class submarine built for the Regia Marina. She carried the pennant number 1932. Odero-Terni-Orlando, Muggiano laid her keel in 1930. She was launched on 15 June 1932.

Seven ships of the class were built. The class followed the Argo-class submarine and was succeeded by the Sirena-class submarine.
