Salpa was a Argonauta-class submarine in service with the Regia Marina. She carried the pennant number 1932. Her keel was laid at Cantieri navali Tosi di Taranto, Taranto in 1930. She was launched on 8 May 1932.
She was one of seven ships of her class. The class followed the Argo-class submarine and was succeeded by the Sirena-class submarine.
The boat displaced 650 long tons surfaced and 800 long tons submerged. She measured 61.5 m (202 ft) long with a beam of 5.7 m (19 ft). Her designed speed was 14 knots.
Her main battery was one 102 mm (4.0 in) guns. Her machinery developed 1,500 bhp through two shafts.
She was in commission for 665 days of the Second World War.
She was sunk on 27 June 1941. The wreck survives.
