Ro-62 was a Type L4 (Ro-60-class) submarine in service with the Imperial Japanese Navy. Mitsubishi, Kobe, Japan laid her keel on 8 September 1922. She entered service on 24 July 1924, having been launched on 19 September 1923.
The boat displaced 1,301 long tons submerged. She measured 78.4 m (257 ft) long with a beam of 7.4 m (24 ft). Her designed speed was 15.7 knots, and she carried a complement of 48.
Her main battery was one 76 mm (3 in) guns.
She was in commission for 2,193 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 10 July 1928. She recommissioned on 30 November 1929.
She was scuttled in September 1945, at 19°10′N 166°28′E. The wreck survives.
