Ro-65 was a Type L4 (Ro-60-class) submarine, operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy. Mitsubishi, Kobe, Japan laid her keel on 15 November 1924. She entered service on 30 June 1926, having been launched on 25 September 1925.
The boat displaced 1,301 long tons submerged. She measured 78.4 m (257 ft) long with a beam of 7.4 m (24 ft). Her designed speed was 15.7 knots, and she carried a complement of 48.
Her main battery was one 76 mm (3 in) guns.
She was in commission for 1,430 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 1 April 1931. She recommissioned on 1 December 1931. She was struck from the register on 1 August 1943.
She was sunk on 3 November 1942, at 52°17′N 178°08′E. The wreck survives.
