SMS Schleswig-Holstein was a Deutschland-class battleship, operated by the Kriegsmarine. The ship was named after Schleswig-Holstein. Germaniawerft, Kiel laid her keel on 18 August 1905. Launched on 17 December 1906, she entered service on 6 July 1908.
She was one of five ships of her class. The class followed the Braunschweig-class battleship and was succeeded by the Nassau-class battleship.
Displacement was 12,983 long tons standard and 13,993 long tons at full load. She measured 127.6 m (419 ft) long with a beam of 22.2 m (73 ft). Her designed speed was 19.1 knots, and she carried a complement of 743.
Her main battery was four 280 mm (11.0 in) guns. Her belt armour was 240 mm (9.4 in) and her deck 40 mm. Her machinery developed 12,503 kW.
She was decommissioned on 2 May 1917. She recommissioned on 31 January 1926.
She was scuttled in 1944. The wreck survives.
