USS Earheart was a destroyer escort of the Rudderow-class destroyer escort, as ordered built for the United States Navy. She was named for James E. Earheart. Her keel was laid at Bethlehem-Hingham Shipyard, Inc., Hingham, Massachusetts on 20 March 1945. She entered service on 26 July 1945, having been launched on 12 May 1945.

She was one of eight ships of her class. The class followed the Edsall-class destroyer escort and was succeeded by the John C. Butler-class destroyer escort.

She displaced 2,130 long tons. She measured 93.3 m (306 ft) long with a beam of 11.3 m (37 ft). Her designed speed was 23 knots, and she carried a complement of 204. Her main battery was of 127 mm (5 in) calibre.

She served with the United States Navy as USS Earheart (DE-603) until 29 April 1946. She was in commission for 2,231 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 29 April 1946. She was struck from the register on 12 December 1963.

She was wrecked in 1976.
