USS Lloyd E. Acree was a John C. Butler-class destroyer escort of the United States Navy. She was named for Lloyd Edgar Acree. Her keel was laid at Consolidated Steel Corporation, Orange, Texas on 24 January 1944. Launched on 21 March 1944, she entered service on 1 August 1944.

81 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Rudderow-class destroyer escort and was succeeded by the Dealey-class destroyer escort.

She displaced 1,350 long tons. She measured 93.3 m (306 ft) long with a beam of 11.0 m (36 ft). Her designed speed was 24 knots, and she carried a complement of 215.

Her main battery was two 127 mm (5 in) guns.

She was in commission for 397 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 10 October 1946. She was struck from the register on 15 January 1972.

She was broken up for scrap on 13 June 1973.
