USS S-11 was a S-3-class submarine of the United States Navy. She carried the pennant number SS-116. Her keel was laid at Portsmouth Navy Yard, on Seavey Island, Kittery, Maine on 2 December 1919. Launched on 7 February 1921, she entered service on 11 February 1923.

The boat displaced 930 long tons surfaced and 1,138 long tons submerged. She measured 70.4 m (231 ft) long with a beam of 6.4 m (21 ft). Her designed speed was 14 knots, and she carried a complement of 38.

Her main battery was one 102 mm (4 in) guns. Her machinery developed 2,000 bhp.

She was in commission for 2,070 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 30 September 1936. She recommissioned on 6 September 1940. She was struck from the register on 19 May 1945.

She was broken up for scrap on 28 October 1945.
