USS Traw was a John C. Butler-class destroyer escort of the United States Navy. The ship was named after London Lewis Traw. Consolidated Steel Corporation, Orange, Texas laid her keel on 19 December 1943. She entered service on 20 June 1944, having been launched on 12 February 1944.

She was one of 81 ships of her class. The class followed the Rudderow-class destroyer escort and was succeeded by the Dealey-class destroyer escort.

She displaced 1,350 long tons. She measured 93.3 m (306 ft) long with a beam of 11.0 m (36 ft). Her designed speed was 24 knots, and she carried a complement of 215.

Her main battery was two 127 mm (5 in) guns.

She was in commission for 439 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 7 June 1946. She was struck from the register on 1 August 1967.

She was expended as a target on 17 August 1968. The wreck survives.
