HMS Keith was a B-class destroyer in service with the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number D06. She was named for Lord Keith. Vickers-Armstrongs, Barrow laid her keel on 1 October 1929. She was launched on 10 July 1930.

She was one of nine ships of her class. The class followed the HMS Ambuscade (D38) and HMS Amazon (D39) and was succeeded by the C and D-class destroyer.

Displacement was 1,400 long tons standard and 1,821 long tons at full load. She measured 98.5 m (323 ft) long with a beam of 9.8 m (32 ft). Her designed speed was 35 knots, and she carried a complement of 175. Her main battery was of 120 mm (4.7 in) calibre.
