HMS Vandal was a U-class submarine built for the Royal Navy. Vickers-Armstrongs, Barrow-in-Furness laid her keel on 17 March 1942. Launched on 23 November 1942, she entered service on 20 February 1943.
53 ships of the class were built.
The boat displaced 540 long tons surfaced and 730 long tons submerged. She measured 58.2 m (191 ft) long with a beam of 4.9 m (16 ft). Her designed speed was 11.2 knots, and she carried a complement of 27.
