Ro-63 was a Type L4 (Ro-60-class) submarine, operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy. Mitsubishi, Kobe, Japan laid her keel on 2 April 1923. She entered service on 20 December 1924, having been launched on 24 January 1924.
The boat displaced 1,301 long tons submerged. She measured 78.4 m (257 ft) long with a beam of 7.4 m (24 ft). Her designed speed was 15.7 knots, and she carried a complement of 48.
Her main battery was one 76 mm (3 in) guns.
She was in commission for 2,193 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 10 March 1929. She recommissioned on 29 June 1929.
She was scuttled in September 1945. The wreck survives.
