HMAS Nepal was a N-class destroyer, operated by the Royal Australian Navy. The ship was named after Nepal. Her keel was laid at John I. Thornycroft and Company on 9 September 1939. Launched on 4 December 1941, she entered service on 29 May 1942.
Displacement was 1,773 long tons standard and 2,384 long tons at full load. She measured 108.5 m (356 ft) long with a beam of 10.7 m (35 ft). Her designed speed was 36 knots, and she carried a complement of 183. Her main battery was of 120 mm (4.7 in) calibre.
Her machinery developed 40,000 shp through two shafts.
She was in commission for 1,193 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 22 October 1945.
She was broken up for scrap in 1956.
