HMCS Haida was a Tribal-class destroyer in service with the Royal Canadian Navy. She carried the pennant number G63. The ship was named after Haida. Vickers-Armstrongs, Ltd., Newcastle-upon-Tyne laid her keel on 29 September 1941. Launched on 25 August 1942, she entered service on 30 August 1943.
Her class ran to 24 ships. The class followed the I-class destroyer and was succeeded by the J class.
She displaced 1,959 long tons standard and 2,519 long tons at full load. She measured 114.9 m (377 ft) long with a beam of 11.3 m (37 ft). Her designed speed was 36.5 knots, and she carried a complement of 259.
Her main battery was three 119 mm (4.7 in) guns.
She was in commission for 736 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 20 March 1946. She recommissioned on 15 March 1952.
She has been preserved.
