HMS Kipling was a K-class destroyer in service with the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number F91. Yarrow, Scotstoun laid her keel on 20 October 1937. Launched on 19 January 1939, she entered service on 12 December 1939.
She was one of 15 ships of her class. The class followed the Soviet S-class submarine and was succeeded by the Zulu-class submarine.
Displacement was 1,690 long tons standard and 2,330 long tons at full load. She measured 108.5 m (356 ft) long with a beam of 10.7 m (35 ft). Her designed speed was 36 knots, and she carried a complement of 183. Her main battery was of 120 mm (4.7 in) calibre.

She was in commission for 881 days of the Second World War.
She was sunk on 11 May 1942 by aircraft, at 32°23′N 26°11′E. The wreck survives.
