K-1 was a Soviet K-class submarine built for the Soviet Navy. Zavod No. 194, Leningrad laid her keel on 27 December 1936. Launched on 28 April 1938, she entered service on 26 June 1940.

15 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Soviet S-class submarine and was succeeded by the Zulu-class submarine.

The boat displaced 1,466 long tons surfaced and 2,071 long tons submerged. She measured 97.7 m (321 ft) long with a beam of 7.4 m (24 ft). Her designed speed was 21 knots, and she carried a complement of 66.
