HMS Otus was a Odin-class submarine submarine, operated by the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number N92. Vickers-Armstrongs (Barrow-in-Furness, U.K.) laid her keel on 31 May 1927. She entered service on 5 July 1929, having been launched on 31 August 1928.
Eight ships of the class were built. The class followed the L class and was succeeded by the Parthian-class submarine.
The boat displaced 1,781 long tons surfaced and 2,038 long tons submerged. She measured 86.3 m (283 ft) long with a beam of 9.1 m (30 ft). Her designed speed was 17.5 knots, and she carried a complement of 53. Her main battery was of 102 mm (4.0 in) calibre.
She was in commission for 2,193 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned in March 1946.
She was scuttled in 1946, at 29°52′S 31°06′E. The wreck survives.
